The versatility of the LG M227WD makes it a great choice for multimedia use. It's built in digital tuner allows you to watch Freeview channels through a standard aerial without having to a add a separate box. Two HDMI connectors allow it show high definition content from HD boxes and games consoles. And you also have the option of using it as a PC monitor.
Besides 2 x HDMI ports the back of the LGM227WD also features 2 x Scart, S-Video, D-Sub VGA, DVI-D, Composite, CI Card, RCA and 3.5mm Audio jack. With such an impressive range of connections it's simple to attach multiple devices such as DVD & Blu-Ray players, games consoles, speakers, digital cameras and camcorders.
The casing of the M227WD has an attractive glossy black finish which is complemented by a strip of red at the bottom, it's just enough to make it stand out from other 22 LCD TV's without looking garish. A small bright blue LED located at the bottom right indicates it's power status. The only thing that lets the look of this 22 LCD TV down slightly is a small 'FLATRON' logo place at the top left of the bevel, although it's in no way obtrusive it would just look nicer without it.
