This 22" LCD TV from LG has a number of highly innovative features and includes a built in Freeview receiver.
The built in Freeview receiver provides free access to numerous television and radio stations including BBC4, ITV2, CBeebies, Virgin1 and Sky Sports News.
The LG 22LG3000 22" TV features three different preset AV modes which ensures optimum picture quality for displaying different types of content -
Cinema mode is the best setting for watching films. In this mode colours and tones are displayed to industry standards - the idea being that by conforming to standards it's possible to get close to how the movie director originally intended the film to be seen.
Game mode will be appreciated by Playstation 3 and XBOX 360 owners. In this mode the 22LG3000 calculates the image quality rate of computer games so that the picture is consistently rich and clear. This is an important factor as it takes into account the higher concentration level of users playing a game, as opposed to watching TV which typically requires less concentration.
Sport mode is the perfect preset for watching major sporting events such as football, rugby and formula 1. This setting takes into account the need to display fast moving images without blur or judder, and displays primary colours more vividly, so for example a football pitch looks greener.
All three modes are quickly and easily accessed via an AV hot key on the remote control.
Invisible Speakers!
Unlike other 22 LCD TV models the LG 22LG3000 has no visible speaker grills on the outside, instead the bevel around the screen works as a speaker. This allows for an ultra sleek and minimal looking TV that still provides a high quality audio experience.
